1. What this site is

That Sounds Dirty (“the Site”) is a humor dictionary cataloguing real words, phrases, and place names that sound suggestive but have innocent, verifiable meanings. Nothing on this site is intended to be obscene, and all definitions are factual.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to browse the Site, and at least 18 years old to view NSFW-tier content or submit content. By creating an account or submitting content, you affirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Content you submit — license

By submitting text, photographs, or other material (“User Content”) to the Site, you grant thatsoundsdirty.com a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display that User Content in any media and for any purpose, including commercial purposes such as merchandise, without further consent or compensation to you. You retain ownership of your User Content.

4. Your warranties

You represent and warrant that: (a) you own or control all rights to your User Content; (b) your User Content is accurate and does not violate any law or any third party's rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights; (c) you are 18 or older if submitting NSFW-tier content, which you have marked accordingly; and (d) your User Content is not unlawful, defamatory, or hateful.

5. Zero-tolerance CSAM policy

The Site has zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes minors in any way, including computer-generated or illustrated material. Such content must never be uploaded, linked, or described. Violations are reported to the appropriate authorities, including the NCMEC CyberTipline where applicable, and result in immediate permanent account termination and preservation of evidence for law enforcement.

6. Moderation and right to remove

All submissions are reviewed before publication, and we reserve the right to reject, remove, or edit any User Content or account at any time, for any reason, without notice. Flagged comments enter a moderation queue and may be removed if they violate our Content Policy.

7. Voting and accounts

One vote per person per entry. Attempts to manipulate voting (bots, vote brigading, multiple accounts) may result in vote invalidation and account termination. You are responsible for safeguarding your password.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless thatsoundsdirty.com and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Site, or your breach of these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. While definitions are sourced in good faith, we do not warrant that every entry is error-free. The Site is humor; it is not a dictionary of record, medical reference, or travel guide.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, thatsoundsdirty.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Site.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
