Content Policy
The joke of this Site is that everything sounds dirty but isn't. Keeping it that way is a moderation priority, not an afterthought.
1. The golden rule
Entries must be real — actual words, phrases, place names, products, or photos of real things — with a genuine, verifiable innocent meaning. Made-up innuendo isn't the brand; reality is funnier.
2. What's welcome
- Dictionary-verified words and phrases that sound suggestive (e.g., "fartlek," "cockchafer").
- Real place names, street signs, shop names, and products (photos encouraged).
- Accurate, sourced definitions and good-natured example sentences.
3. What's not welcome
- Actual sexually explicit content — descriptions, images, or links.
- Slurs, hate speech, or harassment of any group or individual.
- Profanity in titles, definitions, or comments. The humor comes from the sound; keep the wording clean.
- Spam, scams, self-promotion, or off-topic links.
- Personal information — yours or anyone else's.
- Content that sexualizes minors in any way — see the zero-tolerance policy in our Terms of Service. Violations are reported to authorities.
4. The two tiers
- Clean (default): fully indexable, shareable, appears in feeds and leaderboards.
- NSFW: real but raunchy-sounding. Age-gated, excluded from feeds, sitemaps, and social embeds, and marked
noindex. Uploaders must affirm they are 18+.
5. Moderation
Every image submission is held in a pending queue and reviewed by a human before it appears anywhere. Comments are filtered automatically and can be reported by readers; three reports pull a comment into the moderator queue. Moderators may remove content or ban accounts that violate this policy, with or without warning.
6. Appeals
If your submission was rejected or your comment removed and you believe it complied with this policy, contact us via the address on the DMCA & contact page and we'll take another look.
